Merging Art and Science for Treating Voice, Speech and Swallowing Disorders

Anne brings her passion for music and singing into her speech therapy sessions using proven methods for treating her patients. Her approach includes techniques developed at Boston University where she earned her graduate degree, including training at the Aphasia Resource Center, under the supervision of Elizabeth Hoover and Jerome Kaplan. She is certified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) and through The Parkinson’s Voice Project. She completed her clinical training under Barbara Worth and Hadas Golan. The tools and techniques she uses achieve results that can improve breathing, articulation, voice clarity and volume, as well as chewing and swallowing difficulties.  Whether working with patients after a stroke, vocal injury, gender transition, COPD, TBI, long Covid, Parkinson’s or dementia she treats communication and swallowing disorders with compassion to restore comfort and dignity.
